Stylus Entry - 2

Behind Closed Eyes

Waist-deep in white cotton
Shadowed angles ontop sheets
Laboured breath against my neck
Besides whomever I sleep.

Whatever should come with the morning
Be it even me with her
Still we'll catch up over coffee
With little need for words.

In goodbye, my arms around you
You'll kiss me to be polite
I'll miss her through next morning
Though I'll lay by someone else tonight.

Waist-deep in white cotton
Digits clutched tight to sheets
She might aswell be nameless
Behind closed eyes.
